Understanding Australia’s
National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian government-funded program that provides disability-related care and support to people under the age of 65.

The NDIS caters to those who have a major and persistent disability, or disabilities that have a significant impact on their ability to participate in daily activities.

There are three options to manage your NDIS funding – self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed. You can also choose a combination of the three options

The NDIS will include funding in your plan to pay for your plan manager. This is separate from your other services and supports in your budget.

If you are mid-plan and want to change, contact NDIS to discuss how you can include plan management in your plan.

At your NDIS planning meeting, your LAC or NDIA planner will ask you how you would like your NDIS funding to be managed.

Let them know you would like your NDIS Plan to be Plan Managed and then give us a call on 0405 673 584 and we’ll get you started.
